  Attendance Register
Posted by: Ashraf - 08-13-2017, 06:51 PM - Forum: Feature Requests - Replies (1)

One of the modules I really like is the Learner Attendance - 3.3

Thursday afternoons I print the Weekly Learner Attendance register, for our class teachers to complete the Friday morning.

One of my pet hates, is not having the class teacher's name on this page (I have to write the names on these manually), my humble request to the SA-SAMS team is to put the name of the class teacher of these weekly registers. Will save me lots of time.

Or if someone can tell me how to do it, will really appreciate it thanks.

Good Morning Colleagues

My name is Given, based in Pretoria, Mamelodi. I have been a SA-SAMS user for about five years now, and finally getting around every corner of the modules. I am not saying i know everything about it, however i believe that i can perform most of the task you can think of, for the daily monitoring.

I was wondering if the are some users who are based pretoria so that we can organise a group that will meet regularly to discuss more about the challenges and solutions that we encounter at schools.

Regards

Given

Hello everyone

My name is Sibongile Dladla. I'm an Information Technology Officer(ITO) at the Ugu District in KZN. I'm employed under the EMIS Directorate and happy to say SASAMS takes up 80% of my job description now.

We are busy training our CES, DCES and SES in different sections to get them onboard with thier different modules and also working to get all 500 of our schools on the DDD.

I'm happy to be a part of the forum and hope I will gain a lot of additional information and troubleshooting ways to help my schools and my fellow colleagues in KZN.

Also willing to help in anyway possible to people queries since I have been working with SASAMS since 2009  Smile

Peace out  Wink

Hi everyone

I am testing the recording of marks for Gr 8 English FAL, but the final mark, percentage and levels are not generating.

What am I not doing....or doing wrong? All the other languages and subjects are working perfectly.

Thanks for helping.

Nicky

  3.7 Demerits and Merit Module
Posted by: Sonneveld Akademie - 05-23-2017, 12:14 PM - Forum: 3. Learner and Parent Information - Replies (1)

Good day

I want to know how to manage the demerits/merits system better.

For example, if a learner gets 100 detention points and he/she has detention, shouldn't he/she be removed from the next detention list (if they haven't earned additional points)? Because every time I print out the detention list, everybody is on that list (since Jan 2017), some of the learners only had to sit once, but their names stays on the detention list. Is there a setting or something that I miss?

However, the total detention points must stay on the learner's profile/report card.

  Foundation Phase Manual Changes
Posted by: user@name - 05-22-2017, 01:51 PM - Forum: 12. Curriculum Related Data - Replies (1)

Please see the attachment.

This was applicable, and sent by, District Office: Ekurhuleni North (Gauteng).

Can any other districts/provincial officers confirm that they are preparing the Curriculum Setups in the same way?

Is there a reason behind this - will the changes required be reflected in the next SA-SAMS Update?

Regards
